Herman, known locally as “Uncle Herman” was an extraordinary business leader who received many honors for his work in the community. He donated a mile of beach-front property located in Lower Township to the New Jersey Conservation Society for the enjoyment of future generations. This area is appropriately named, “Tolz Beach”.
